Two weeks ago, we met in Stockholm with four Nordic destination management companies to explore closer collaboration and align the way we work across markets. What started as a working meeting quickly turned into something more substantial.
During the meeting, the four DMCs agreed to collaborate under a shared alliance, EUDMC, which is live at eudmc.com. The idea behind EUDMC is straightforward: experienced European DMCs working together based on trust, shared standards, and operational compatibility.
Two of the participants were already long term partners. Marko and Alexandra from DMC Rovaniemi in Finland and Sven and Otto from Royal DMC in Sweden have been using the R24k Travel Manager in their daily operations and brought real world experience into the discussion.
The meeting also included two new agencies who joined specifically to evaluate the collaboration model and the technology behind it. Anne and Marianne from Beyond Relations in Denmark, and Daniel from DMC Oslo in Norway, took part in the full working sessions, reviewing workflows, live quotations, supplier management, and cross border cooperation.
Rather than focusing on presentations, the discussions centred on practical topics: how to respond faster to enquiries, how to collaborate on multi country itineraries, how to keep accounting and supplier data clean, and how to maintain quality when multiple agencies are involved.
By the end of the meeting, all four DMCs agreed to move forward together under the EUDMC alliance. As part of this decision, all four agencies are now working with the R24k Travel Manager as their shared operational platform.
This alignment is important. When independent DMCs from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway choose the same system, it allows them to collaborate without friction while remaining fully independent in their own markets.
For us, the Stockholm meeting confirmed that meaningful growth happens through trust, shared experience, and proven tools. The Nordic region is now a key part of our network, and EUDMC represents a strong, professional alliance built around real operational needs rather than marketing promises.
Further updates will follow as the collaboration develops, but this meeting already marks an important step forward for Nordic DMC cooperation.
